Kayla Janes is a multidisciplinary artist based in Laguna Beach. Janes creates large-format paintings and charcoal drawings that depict complex environments with detail and sensitivity. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural world, combining specific geographic locations and natural phenomena to explore various stages of one’s own existence.

 

Janes has exhibited with CASA CDM since its opening in June 2024. She received her BFA and MFA from Laguna College of Art and Design, and her work has been exhibited at the Laguna Art Museum.
